Mom’s Refridgerator Rolls

1/2 cup lard or shortening

1/4 to1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. salt

Add 1/2 cup of boiling water over  first 3 ingredients.

Add 1 pack yeast to 1/2 cup cold water and let stand 5 min.mix

Add yeast to the mixture and add 3 cups , all purpose flour, Cover and place in refrigerator  for at least 4 hrs. (can leave

overnight)

This would be perfect to make day before Thanksgiving and, all you have to do is shape into rolls, or may be baked in muffin tin.  Let rise 2 hours.  Bake at 425 golden brown. Brush with mixture of beaten egg white and 1 tsp. water before baking for a nice golden shiny top.
