Apple Upside Down Cake with Browned Butter& Maple Glaze.
It so very moist and the house smelled heavenly.
1 1/2 sups sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup soften butter
1 tsp. pure vanilla
Beat these 5 ingredients until well blended.
Mix together :
2 1/2 cups self Rising flour
11/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
1 apple grated into cake batter.
Mix all together just until blended well
Ready to bake. 2- 9 inch cake pans. melt 1/2 stick butter in each pan. Core two apple ( I used Granny Smith)
when butter is melted place sliced apple in bottom of pans sprinkle, 1/2 cup brown sugar in each over apples
add cherries if you want.Divide cake into both pans and bake 35 to45 min. Or may be bake in a Bundt pan.
