Mary”s Brasied Country Ribs


Preheat oven to 325

1 pkg. 4 country style ribs

3 potatoes quartered

1 med onion  chopped coarsely

1 cup mixed sweet peppers

Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder to taste and 1/2 cup flour

Add this mix to large zip lock bag and place ribs in and shake to coat well 

In a iron or non stick pan brown ribs on all 4 sides

Take out and throw in the onions and peppers and brown slightly and add a few splashes on red wine vinegar and get up all the yummy on the bottom of skillet, now put ribs back in, if using iron skillet and add enough broth just to come half way up ribs. do not cover with broth. cover tightly and bake for 3 to 31/2 hour or until fork tender. If using non stick skillet place in a casserole dish.
