Mary’s Yummy Pecan Rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

I box yellow cake mix

5 1/2  cups all purpose flour

2 pkgs quick rise yeast

Mix this all together.

Add 21/4 cups of hot water

1 stick of butter, softened ( This is softened to spread on the dough, it doesn’t go in the rolls.)

Mix this all together and turn out onto work surface, knead  until not sticky. turn a bowl over the dough and  let rest for 15 minutes. divide into half,  press dough out and roll in a  large rectangle  large enough to get 12 slices. While the dough is flat   spread 1/2 of the butter over the dough  Sprinkle cinnamon all over as much as you like  ( I use less when doing pecan rolls, that is my preference ) Now sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar over the cinnamon. now you are ready to roll it up. roll tightly up and slice into 12 slices and add melted butter to cover the bottom, add brown sugar over the butter   and  add pecans tops facing down  Place cut side up into a 13X9 dish  that is lined with wax paper.   will make about 24 rolls. Yummy to the tummy.
