This is what is on Mary’s Dinner Table tonight

Yummy bed of buttery grits with baked chicken

Green beans sautéed with onions, squash, and red sweet peppers

Sliced tomatoes and fresh sage for garnish

Baked Chicken was baked in a turbo cooker. It is so moist and tender and only cooked for 1 hour

Recipe for Green beans.

1 14.5 oz. can green beans (and for the ones saying don’t like can beans, try this you will never know.)

Rinse green bean well and pour into bowl with water over top and add 2 tsp. vinegar, let sit for about 20 min. rinse and ready to mix with other ingredients

1 med. squash sliced thinly

1 tbsp. bacon grease

1 1/2 tbsp. butter

1 sm. onion chopped

1/2 cup red sweet peppers

1 clove garlic finely chopped ( more if you like)

1/2 tsp. marjoram  and 1 tsp. onion powder

pinch red pepper flakes

mix all in skillet and Sautee until all  veggies or tender and beginning to brown and take off and ready to serve

Chicken was washed and spray with Pam, salt pepper and paprika
