1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar , packed
2 sticks butter softened
1 tbsp. pure vanilla +1 tsp.
2 eggs beat ingredients well
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Refrigerate for I hour.
Add together in a sm. bowl 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/ 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Also add 1/2 cups pecans finely chopped
Refrigerate until easy to handle about 1 hour
Roll out cookie dough into 1/1/2 inch balls
place 1 to 1/2 inches apart. press down in middle of cookie with your thumb. chocolate chip mixture take out 1/2 tsp. and place into you thumb print in cookies. bake at 375 in preheated oven. About 9 min. take out and add 3 mini marshmallows or cut into halves as I did here and place 1/2 on each cookie and back in oven for about 2 min.
For chocolate Cherrie cookies. Use 1/2 your dough and do exact same thing and put a half cherry onto each cookie on top of the filling. Here you can sprinkle with powdered or make a glaze with powdered sugar and a little water, stir and add food color if you like.
Goes really well with a glass of milk for a treat or serve with a scoop of ice cream for dessert.
