Butterscotch Pecan Pie


1 pre baked pie crust

3/4 cup sugar

5 tbsp. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

3 egg yolks.

1 1/2 cups milk

1 tsp. vanilla

Cook over med. heat constantly stirring until thickens

Add 1 cup butterscotch chips and stir until melted, pour into pre baked pie shell.

Beat egg whites with 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar and 5 tbsp. sugar. beat to stiff peaks and add to pie and bake at 400 for about 10 min. until brown
