Yummy Crescent Rolls

This is a tried and true recipe. that I have used for several years.

It is so soft and light. And  don’t forget buttery, so yummy


2 pkg. active dry yeast

3/4 cup warm water 110 degrees

1/2 cup sugar

1tsp. salt

2 eggs.

1/2 cop soft shortening

4 cups all purpose flour

1 stick butter

 add  warm water into measuring cup and add yeast to dissolve.

Add sugar, eggs, salt and 2 cups of the flour, add water and yeast mixture. Beat well and add

the rest of flour and beat until smooth just a couple of min. Turn out onto work surface and knead a few times

and place in a greased bowl and let rise in a warm place for  1 hour. Divide into two  and roll  the first one out  into 12 inch circle and cut into 12  to 14 wedges. and place about 2…
