Mary’s Easy Chicken & Dumpling


This is a recipe for 2 to 4 people and so delightful on a cold night

2 chicken breast baked or roasted ( cut or pull into bite size pieces.

5 cups chicken broth

2 1/4 cups bisquick

2/3 cup  milk

Mix all together and roll  thin as possible cut into strips and cut stripes into 1 1/2 to 2 inches pieces, place the cut pieces in the boiling chicken broth and just gently stir to make sure they are not sticking to bottom. cook for 8 to 10 min. and then cover and turn heat down  and cook for 10 minutes more. Add 2 tablespoon butter and mix in and serve hot. Top with cut parsley for garnish.
