IMG_1516

This will make the most Amazing Sandwich !!! I have used it for home roasted turkey, Baked Ham, and BLT”s are the best. We have a concessions trailer we carried to our local farmers market.  My BLT’s were a big hit. and started selling loaves of bread coming and coming. I kid you not got to try it. It will become a favorite. You can take this bread and stretch this dough out onto a sheet pan and also make a great pizza. I hope you will give it a try to let me know how you like it. Love to get feedback..

Ingredients

2 packs quick rise yeast

1 cup water warmed to 105 degrees

2 tablespoons sugar

Add these 3 ingredients till mixing bowl which has been warmed. Stir gently and let stand 5 min. until foam appears.

3/12  to 4 cups flour

2 tbsp. warm water

1 tablespoon salt

1/4 cup olive oil

cornmeal for dusting pan

Now add the salt to the water,   turn mixer on low ,slowly add the flour  and water add in the olive oil. When you see the dough come together turn mixer to med,  Scrape down sides often. mix until dough becomes smooth and elastic. It will feel kind of silky. take  about 10 minutes. Take out of mixer and place on work surface and just fold over itself  3 or 4 times and place in well greased bowl. Cover let rise in warm place until doubled about 45 minutes. Take out of bowl . Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan and stretch dough out to fit pan, Set back in warm place  and let rest for 15 minutes.  now with your finger tips dimple the dough all over. brush with olive oil add your choice of ingredients. I use dried onion flakes, dried rosemary , some course salt, parmesan cheese, and garlic. some other things I have used is cooked onions, Italian seasoning, and fresh herbs if you have on hand are just the best. Bake in 9/13 lightly greased and dusted with corn meal. Bake in preheated oven 15 to 20 min. until golden. You can also add any og=f the seasoning to the dough, But you can add olives, and caramelized onions are great. You can just add what  you like and make it your own.
