16 oz. frozen broccoli
1 stick butter
3 cans chicken broth (Low Sodium)
1 med onion chopped
2 tsp. (or more if you like) powdered garlic.
2 sm. boxes Velveeta cheese (chopped into small cubes)
1 1/2 cups milk
4 to 5 tbsp. instant potatoes ( for thickening )
Add more milk for thinning or more potatoes for thickening
Melt butter in sauce pan, add chopped onions and cook until onions are soft. ADD in broccoli and chicken broth to cover broccoli. cover and cook until broccoli is tender add cheese and garlic and cook on med. low until cheese melts and add potatoes to thickens. I added garlic toast to go with mine Delicious.
