Grandma’s Old Fashion Egg Custard

IMG_23651 unbaked pie shell

3 large eggs, beaten

1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of nutmeg

2-2/3 cups of milk

2  teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree

Beat your eggs slightly

.add  sugar, salt, nutmeg, and milk.

Beat well and poor into the unbaked pie  shell

Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.

My grandma use to sprinkle nutmeg on top and smelled so yummy baking.

I could not wait for it to come out of oven.♥
