Zucchini Gratin


Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we have.

4 zucchinis slice thinly

1 onion sliced thinly

2 tbsp. butter

2 tbsp. flour

2 cups hot milk

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 tsp. dried thyme

2 tbsp. butter

1/2 to 3/4 parmesan cheese

1/4 cup bread crumbs

Slice  zucchini  and onion, layer 1/2 in casserole dish and 1/2 of  the gratin mixture

add the other half and pour the gratin mix over the top. Next add  sprinkle the cheese and bread crumbs on top and drizzle the last 2 tbsp. butter over the top

For the Gratin sauce.

Melt butter in sauce pan,  stir in flour and add hot milk  and cook until thickens.
