Mary’s Yummy Pecan Rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

I box yellow cake mix

5 1/2  cups all purpose flour

2 pkgs quick rise yeast

Mix this all together.

Add 21/4 cups of hot water

1 stick of butter, softened ( This is softened to spread on the dough, it doesn’t go in the rolls.)

Mix this all together and turn out onto work surface, knead  until not sticky. turn a bowl over the dough and  let rest for 15 minutes. divide into half,  press dough out and roll in a  large rectangle  large enough to get 12 slices. While the dough is flat   spread 1/2 of the butter over the dough  Sprinkle cinnamon all over as much as you like  ( I use less when doing pecan rolls, that is my preference ) Now sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar over the cinnamon. now you are ready to roll it up. roll tightly up and slice into…
