Baked Chicken & Stovetop


This is a recipe good for 2 to 4 people. Very easy and very good

1  4 pound roaster chicken

1 box stove top cornbread stuffing mix

Add chicken to casserole dish. rub with butter,add salt and pepper

1 bay leaf. paprika, and garlic if desired. bake at 315 degrees

add about 1/2 cup water and bake for about 21/2 to 3 hours or until meat thermometer is at 160

Mix stuffing mix according to box directions and spoon into the broth in casserole dish and this is where u get all the good homemade flavor (should be about a cup of broth in the dish when you add stove top)

place back in oven to get hot about 20 minutes. Serve with cranberry sauce  and enjoy so good. and so easy.
