Mary’s Salmon Patties


Both fresh and canned salmon have health benefits due to their high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids, but salmon canned with the bones also provides a hefty dose of calcium. Buying canned salmon is cheaper than buying fresh and provides a versatile ingredient for salads, sandwiches and pasta dishes. from healthy eating

Another good go to meal.  one of my favorite salmon patties. scrambled eggs and fried taters.

and of course homemade biscuit. I remember this from my childhood days, brings back good memories


1 14 oz. can salmon drain, and with a fork flake fish

2 tbsp. flour

2 tbsp. cornmeal

6 saltines crushed

1 egg

juice of 1/2 lemon

2 tbsp. mayonnaise

Add chopped onion if desired

Mix all ingredients together and fry and turn only one time until golden brown

Simple and easy to prepare and yummy to the tummy
